The physical education forms an integral part of the curriculum at SABTMHSS and is also a major area of extra-curricular activity. We encourage students to take part in as many activities as they feel happy with, as we know that these experiences really contribute to students becoming well-rounded individuals.

Scouts & Guides

Scouting and Guiding is one of the important co-curricular activities in Schools vide Sub Rule (1) of rule 10, Chapter VIll of the Kerala Education rules. It is the noble and biggest youth movement in the world Scouting is an excellent educational Movement which gives training to the youth for becoming good citizens who work with a sense of devotion towards the achievement of full personality development (physical, mental, moral, spiritual and social), for the good of the community and world brotherhood, above differences of caste, religion, sex, colour and language and consideration of party politics.

Junior Red Cross (JRC)

Junior Red Cross is the Students’s wing of the Red Cross. It is a group movement organized within schools. Students who take part in Junior Red Cross activities are known as ‘Juniors’. The teachers who guides the students in JRC activities, is called “COUNSELLOR”. JUNIOR RED CROSS OBJECTS 1. Promotion of Health 2. Service to the Sick and suffering 3. National and International friendliness JUNIOR RED CROSS MOTTO “I SERVE”.

Little Kites

Little KITEs’ IT Clubs is an unique initiative of KITE, which feature over 1 lakh student members. Students were given intense training in 5 areas such as Animation, Cyber Safety, Malayalam Computing, Hardware and Electronics. Little KITEs is set to become the largest Student IT Network in the Country. Hon. Chief Minister, Shri. Pinarayi Vijayan has launched this unique initiative on 22nd January 2018 at Thiruvananathapuram. In addition to the already identified 5 Core areas, more topics have been added such as Development of Mobile Apps, Programming, Robotics, E-Commerce, E-Governance, Video Documentation, Web TV etc to the activity bouquet of 'Little KITEs`.

National Service Scheme (NSS)

It provides opportunity to the student youth of 11th & 12th Class students to take part in various government led community service activities & programmes. NSS volunteers work in rural areas, adopted villages and school to the serving the cause of society through survey, education and health awareness programme. This study involves in identifying the importance, aims and objectives of NSS in higher education which in turn create social responsibility among the students. Being an active member these student volunteers would have the exposure and experience to be; an accomplished social leader, an efficient administrator and a person who understands human nature
